Jan Cober ，荷蘭知名管樂指揮，畢業於 Conservatory of Maastricht ，主修豎笛演奏及指揮。目前於 Conservatory of Tilburg 及 Conservatory of Maastricht 任教，並擔任 European Philharmonic Orchestra 、 Schweizer Armeespiel 、 Rundfunk Blasorchester Leipzig 等樂團常任指揮。

這張於 2005 年 3 月發行的 DVD ，除了 Jan Cober 專訪外，另收錄其與德國萊比錫廣播管樂團 ( Rundfunk Blasorchester Leipzig ) 排練（演出）俄國作曲家蕭士塔高維契第九號交響曲實況及與 Sinte Cecilia Eysden 排練（演出）比利時新銳作曲家 Bert Appermont 為管樂團創作的首部音樂劇「 Zaad van Satan 」實況。
