比利時皇家禁衛軍管樂團 ( Royal Symphonic Band of The Belgian Guides ) 成立於 1832 年，是全球歷史最為悠久的管樂團之一。樂團編制共 84 人，多為以一等獎畢業自比利時皇家音樂院 ( Royal Music Academies ) 的傑出演奏家。許多作曲家都選擇由比利時皇家禁衛軍管樂團為他們的新作品錄音，使這個樂團經常有機會接觸不同的作曲家並發表優秀創新的作品。該團優異的音樂表現更是不容置疑。
本 CD 收錄四首為豎笛（低音豎笛）及管樂團協奏的原創作品，並由作曲家之一，出身比利時，目前亦擔任東京國際音樂節 ( Tokyo International Music Festival ) 音樂總監的 Dirk Brosse 擔任指揮。
其中，「 Symphonic Sketches for Clarinet and Bass Clarinet 」更是少見協奏曲曲目，喜歡的朋友千萬別錯過了。 |
