日本鹿兒島縣立松陽高中管樂團成立於 1983 年，目前成員約 137 人。 2000 年首度參賽，即獲得高中組「金賞」的榮耀。

這張於 2007 月 5 月發行的「響美人心」，完整收錄松陽高中管樂團於 2000 ~ 2006 年間五度參與全國管樂大賽決賽實況演出。
