Midwest Clinic 開始於 1946 年 12 月 7 日，主要以推廣新作品、介紹新的技術及產品做為音樂教育之用為主，參加人士多為樂團指揮以及音樂教育工作者。

目前， Midwest Clinic 已經發展成每年 12 月為期 5 天的音樂界盛會，期間除邀請許多知名團體、獨奏家演出外，另安排許多精彩的研習課程及經驗分享活動。

本專輯採燒錄片 ( DVD-R ) 方式發行，特在此說明。
