Bert Appermont ，比利時作曲家，1973 年 12 月 27 日出生於比爾琛 ( Bilzen ) 。於雷曼斯音樂院 ( Institute Lemmens ) 求學期間，追隨 Jan Hadermann 、 Edmond Saveniers 與 Jan Van der Roost 等人學習指揮與作曲。目前於 Beverst 音樂院中擔任教職。

除了管樂作品外， Appermont 先生也創作為數不少的管弦樂及合唱作品。以各類文學故事或傳說為題材是其作品最大的特色。其中，他為管樂團所創作的音樂劇「 Zaad van Satan 」更是受到荷蘭、德國與日本等地樂界的矚目，是歐洲眾多新銳管樂作曲家中不可被忽視的一員。

這張由比利時 Beriato Music 於 2003 年發行的 Bert Appermont 首張作品專輯，除了收錄為管樂團創作的音樂劇「 Zaad van Satan 」選粹外，另收錄根據知名童話故事「格列弗遊記」及聖經故事「諾亞方舟」創作的 Gulliver's Travels 與 Noah's Ark 等曲目。

此外，其首部管樂作品 The Awakening 、以描述哥本哈根建城歷史為題材的 Absalon 等，也都是值得一聽的作品。
