1966 年出生於西班牙 Valencia 郡的 Ferrer Ferran ，自十五歲開始即以獨奏鋼琴家的身份參與各地的音樂會。爾後進入英國皇家音樂院 ( Royal School of Music ) 求學，並取得作曲與管樂指揮文憑。返國後，擔任西班牙 Valencia 音樂院專任作曲教授，並兼任 Banda Primitiva de Paiporta 及 Banda de la Asociacion Cultural Allegro 樂團指導至今。

這張由知名管樂唱片公司 World Wind Music 發行的專輯，共收錄 Ferrer Ferran 三部 2002 年最新管樂創作。其中根據耶蘇生平事跡所創作的第二號交響曲「 La Passio de Crist 」更是難得一見的管樂佳作。作品結構宏偉、旋律優美，展現出管樂團獨特的音響。
